Our Vision. DCYF envisions a strong San Francisco where all children and youth are supported by nurturing families and communities; all children and youth are physically and emotionally healthy; all children and youth are ready to learn and succeed in school; and all youth are ready for college, work and productive adulthood.
MBSK-SF confronts the cumulative adverse childhood experiences that have had intergenerational effects for communities of color in San Francisco, particularly for African Americans, and for justice in-risk and public housing youth and their families, in service of increasing the number of safe, economically mobile, and self-sufficient black and brown youth (ages ) in the City.
